FOUR NEW SCHOOL RECORDS! Congratulations to our track team who shattered records at the CPS Relays on Saturday! Bianca Cervantes broke the record in the 3200m Run. Daniel Rodriguez, Daniel Torres, Kris Kania, and Elvis Altunez ran amazing races including a great 4x400 relay that broke a 5 year old record! Congrats!

Luther North Meet

Congratulations Track Runners for their races at Luther North:
Luis Jacinto has 3rd fastest 200m time in Hancock history beating tough competition.
Kris Kania set the school record in the 300m Hurdles!!!
Hancock Sophomores beat Hancock Varsity in the 4x400 Relay!

Triangular vs. Gage Park and Kennedy

Congratulations to our track team for their races against Gage Park and Kennedy on Friday. Luis Jacinto raced to first place in the 200m, and Daniel Rodriguez broke a personal record in the 800m run. Janette Villeda ran our fastest 100m dash of the day. Congratulations runners!

CPS Indoor City Meet

Congratulations to the Hancock Eagles Track Team for their performance at Sunday's Indoor Track Meet! Top runners included Janette Villeda who is now the 3rd fastest girl in Hancock history in the 200m Dash and Daniel Torres for his performance in the 800m Run.

Boys' Crane Indoor Invite

Congratulations to the Boys' Track Team for competing in their first meet of the season yesterday. Jesus Hernandez received a 3rd Place in the 400m Run. The 4x400 Team (Jim W., Daniel T., Jesus H., and Luis J.) had a great time also! The Girls first meet is on March 10th. Go Eagles!

Congratulations to 4 Cross Country Runners for advancing to the State Sectionals. Freddy Reyes, Daniel Rodriguez, Bianca Cervantes, and Itzel Valenzuela are running into the most important race of their season. Thank you for your support of the Cross Country Team this year. Their sectional race will take place on Saturday, October 30th at Niles West. GO EAGLES!
