UPDATE: AMAZING! It's basically the end of the season and records are still being broken. On the girls side, Araceli Pacheco shattered the school record for the 800m run by nearly 10 seconds. For the boys, Dominic Guevara bounded over his previous record by more than 1 foot. For the "close but no cigar" bit, Gerardo Gutierrez came in 15th Place with a throw of 37'10" in the Shot Put. He needed only 11 more inches on that throw to qualify for the finals. I'd say wait until next year, but our senior goes out still holding the school record of 40'3".
